Nice video. I guess you´ve lived in Portsmouth. I did want to study medicine there but changed my mind in the end and left the island for god. I miss Dominica !!!

I’ve noticed that you like to travel a lot. Do you usually book flights out of St. Maarten or take a ferry to visit the surrounding Caribbean islands? Also, do you recommend any travel websites or resources for booking flights from the U.S. to Caribbean?

First of all, congrats on your acceptance to med school (just checked out your blog)! You’re going to have an adventure! I indeed love traveling. From St. Maarten, you can take a ferry to Anguilla, St. Barths, as well as Saba, as these are the closest islands to St. Maarten. For all other places in the Caribbean, plane flight is necessary. Liat specializes in flights around the Caribbean, and that’s what I took to get to Dominica from St. Maarten. For flights from the US to the Caribbean, I just used kayak.com or any other common flight-booking site. Best of luck in med school!
