Passed Step 1
Dear Friends, Family, and Blog Readers,
I’m happy to announce that I have passed Step 1 of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam! It’s such a big relief, and one that marks the end of the first half of my journey through med school and beginning of a new phase: clinical rotations!
Thank you to my friends, family, all those at AUC, and especially Irene for the endless support. I am looking forward to clinicals and going forward inch-by-inch to become the physician I want to be.
Benji

Hi Benji,
congrats on passing step 1!! How long did you take between semester five and the step1 for studying?
Are you going to do a post about your study pattern for success? Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks you guys! I will definitely write a post about it soon ๐
CONGRATULATIONS! Can’t wait to start my med journey at AUC in January. ๐
Congratulations to you Edna as well! All the best to you in med school! ๐
Hello Benji,
For students starting AUC in September 2014, how long after the fifth semester do they have to prepare thoroughly for the Step 1 exam? I was wondering if they get the May 2016 semester off to take the exam and begin clinical rotations in September 2016. Thank you so much for all your advice.
Hi Vivian, that’s correct. You get May 2016 off to study and start September 2016. If you take the exam earlier, you can start rotations earlier.
